These terms apply only to the website. They do not replace or form part of a quote, work order, maintenance agreement or other document accepted for a specific job.

This website is operated by Active Refrigeration and Air-Conditioning Pty Ltd (ABN 90 166 129 102; ACN 166 129 102), trading as Active Refrigeration & Air Conditioning (“Active”, “we”, “us” or “our”).

Permitted use

You may use the website to learn about our business and services, read general information, contact us and request a quote or call-back.

You must not use the website unlawfully or in a way that could damage, disable, overburden or compromise it. You must not attempt unauthorised access, introduce malicious code, scrape the website in a way that disrupts it, impersonate another person, submit false or misleading information, or infringe another person’s rights.

General information only

Website content is general information, not technical, legal, safety, food-safety or other professional advice for a particular site or item of equipment. Refrigeration and air conditioning faults can involve electricity, pressure, refrigerant and temperature-sensitive stock. Do not rely on an article as a substitute for inspection by a suitably licensed technician or for advice from the relevant regulator or other qualified professional.

We aim to keep website information useful and current, but equipment, manufacturer requirements, standards, guidance and laws can change. Check important requirements against the current primary source before acting.

An enquiry does not form a service contract

Submitting a form, calling a telephone number, sending an email or requesting a quote is an invitation for us to contact you. It does not confirm availability, acceptance of a job, attendance time, scope, price or a service contract.

A contract for work is formed only through the quote, work order, service agreement or other job-specific document accepted by the relevant parties. That document should identify the scope, price or pricing method and applicable terms for the work.

Intellectual property

Unless otherwise stated, the website design, original copy, graphics, photographs, videos, downloadable materials and other original website content are owned by or licensed to Active and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws, including the Copyright Act 1968 (Cth).

You may view the website and print or save a reasonable copy for personal or internal business reference. You may not reproduce, republish, sell, adapt, remove attribution from or commercially exploit substantial website content without prior written permission, except where the law permits it.

Third-party names and trademarks

Manufacturer names, product names and logos mentioned on this website belong to their respective owners. They are used only to identify equipment we discuss or service. Unless a page expressly says otherwise, their appearance does not mean that Active is an authorised dealer, agent or endorsed service centre for that brand.

Third-party links and embedded services

The website may link to regulator, manufacturer, social media, mapping or other third-party websites and may embed services such as Google Maps. Those services are operated under their own terms and privacy practices. A link is provided for context or convenience and does not make us responsible for the third party’s content, availability, security or conduct.
