What downtime really costs

Warm beer, no ice and a dead cool room empty a venue fast

A bar lives or dies on what's cold. When the cooling fails, the damage isn't a repair bill — it's the trade you turn away and the stock you write off. Knowing which one is hurting you fastest is how we triage your call. Most faults trace back to one of our beer & glycol system repairs in Sydney.

Warm or foaming beer

A glycol chiller that can't hold temperature, frozen lines or a tripping power-pack means flat, foamy pints — and patrons who finish one and leave instead of staying for three.

No ice at peak

An ice machine that slimes up or runs low on a Saturday night stops cocktails dead. Buying bagged ice all weekend is a cost — and a sign the machine needs a service.

Cool room down

Kegs, mixers and bar food in a walk-in that's climbing through the danger zone is stock at risk — and a food-safety problem the moment it breaches 5 °C for too long.

The cooling a bar runs on — serviced under one number

From the glycol power-pack in the cellar to the ice machine behind the bar, here's what we install, repair and maintain for Sydney pubs, bars and clubs.

Fewer breakdowns beat faster repairs.

A scheduled maintenance plan — glycol checks, ice-machine descales, coil cleans and seal inspections — catches the faults that fail on a function night, and keeps your cool rooms holding the temperature your food-safety program expects.

Food safety & SLA

Cold taps, safe stock, on a response time you can plan around

We work to the realities of a busy Sydney venue — the food-safety code, your trading hours and the cost of a flat keg on a Friday night.

  • Cool rooms kept at or below 5 °C (FSANZ Food Standards Code); freezers at or below −18 °C as industry practice
  • Glycol and beer systems set to pour cold and consistent through a full shift
  • After-hours and event response — we work around your functions, not against them
  • ARC-licensed refrigerant handling (L057415) & NSW contractor licence 330089C — legal, traceable gas work
  • Upfront pricing approved before work starts; quality workmanship, genuine parts

Bar refrigeration upgrade and the venue's air conditioning — handled on the same relationship

"This is the second time that we have used this company… an upgrade of our undercounter bar refrigeration system and… a service of our 2 air conditioning systems. On both occasions we have found Chris's team to have been prompt, professional and efficient for a reasonable price. They are on my preferred company to use for any refrigeration or air con matters…"

FAQ

Pub, bar & club cooling questions

My beer is pouring warm or foamy — what's wrong?
Warm or foaming beer is usually a glycol chiller that can't hold temperature, frozen or kinked beer lines, or a power-pack that keeps tripping. We diagnose the real cause and get your taps pouring cold and clear again — see our beer & glycol system repairs for the full scope.
Can you repair a glycol chiller after hours or before an event?
Yes. We run a genuine 24/7 emergency line and work around your functions — a glycol or keg-room fault on a booked event night is exactly the kind of call we prioritise. Tell us the venue and the timeline and we'll give you a realistic ETA. After hours, use our 24/7 breakdown service.
Why does my ice machine keep running low or getting slimy?
Slime is usually biofilm from skipped cleaning, and low output is often scale, a dirty condenser or a water-supply issue. We descale and sanitise the machine, fix the underlying fault and show your staff the routine that keeps it clean between services. We service Hoshizaki, Scotsman, Manitowoc and Ice-O-Matic.
What temperature does my keg room or cool room need to hold?
Under the FSANZ Food Standards Code, cold food and stock should be kept at or below 5 °C; frozen stock is held at or below −18 °C as industry practice. We set your cool room to hold those targets and leave a written temperature record you can file with your food-safety program.
Do you offer maintenance plans for venues?
Yes. A scheduled maintenance plan covers glycol checks, ice-machine descales, coil cleans, seal checks and a temperature record each visit. It's the single best way to avoid the breakdowns that always seem to land on a function night.
Are you licensed, and do you give free quotes?
Yes — we're ARC-licensed (L057415) with NSW contractor licence 330089C. Free quotes for commercial refrigeration enquiries, and an upfront price you approve before any work starts. No surprises on the invoice.
