What downtime really costs

In a production kitchen, the cold side is the engine room — downtime stops service

Walk-ins, prep benches and blast chillers don't get a quiet day. When one fails, the cost lands three ways at once. Most faults are repairable same-day — start with commercial refrigeration repairs in Sydney and we triage from your symptom.

Lost stock

A walk-in full of proteins, dairy and prep is thousands of dollars. Once it climbs through the danger zone (5 °C–60 °C) for too long, it's a write-off — and you can't un-spoil it.

Stopped production

No blast chiller means no safe cool-down, and a dead prep fridge halts the line. In a kitchen running to a schedule, every hour down is service you can't catch back up.

Compliance & logging

Under the FSANZ Food Standards Code, cold food must sit at or below 5 °C. A failure with no temperature record is exactly what an EHO inspection and your HACCP program flag.

Walk-in or blast chiller down mid-prep?
Every hour above 5 °C is stock at risk and service on hold.

Built for production

The cold side of your kitchen — serviced under one number

From the walk-in out back to the blast chiller on the line, here's what we install, repair and maintain for Sydney commercial kitchens.

Fewer breakdowns beat faster repairs.

A scheduled maintenance plan — coil cleans, gas checks, seal and drain inspections — catches the faults that fail mid-service, and keeps an audit-ready temperature record for your HACCP food-safety program.

FAQ

Commercial kitchen refrigeration questions

My walk-in is warm — what should I do right now?
Keep the door shut to hold the cold in, note the temperature and the time, and move the most perishable, highest-value stock to another working unit if you have one. Then call us — the sooner we're on-site, the more stock we save. After hours, use our 24/7 emergency line.
Can you repair a blast chiller that won't pull down?
Yes. A blast chiller that won't reach its target cool-down time is usually a refrigeration or airflow fault — gas charge, a dirty condenser, a fan or a control issue. We diagnose the real cause, repair it and confirm it's chilling within a safe cycle again, with a temperature record for your food-safety program.
How fast can you respond to a breakdown?
Same-day across the Sydney metro where we can for commercial breakdowns, plus a genuine 24/7 emergency line for after-hours failures — because a walk-in down overnight is stock lost by morning. Most faults are repairable on the spot via commercial refrigeration repairs; tell us your suburb and equipment and we'll give a realistic ETA.
Do you provide temperature records for compliance and HACCP?
Yes. We leave a written temperature record after every visit — evidence you can file with your HACCP food-safety program and produce for a council or EHO inspection. Under the FSANZ Food Standards Code, cold food should be held at or below 5 °C; frozen food is held at or below −18 °C as industry practice, and we set your equipment to those targets.
Do you offer maintenance plans for kitchens?
Yes. A scheduled maintenance plan covers coil cleans, gas and seal checks, drain clears and a temperature record each visit — across walk-ins, prep fridges and blast chillers. It's the single best way to avoid the breakdowns that always seem to land mid-service.
Are you licensed, and do you give free quotes?
Yes — we're ARC-licensed (L057415) with NSW contractor licence 330089C. Free quotes for commercial refrigeration enquiries, and an upfront price you approve before any work starts. No surprises on the invoice.
